The Ceiling Fan

We installed our first ceiling fan last night in our bedroom. While definitely not as easy as it is portrayed on TV, it was not that difficult either. I honestly cannot believe we did not do this sooner. It makes such a difference in the temperature in our room. Leaving the fan on low while we slept was better than running the AC all night long. And to top it all off the fan runs so quietly you cannot even hear it!

This funky little fan from Lowe's may well be one of the best investment we have made.

Refugio 2006

We just go back from spending a week at Refugio State beach in California. It was an awesome trip, and gave us the opportunity to spend a relaxing weekend with Jennifer?s family laying on the beach. It is not everyday that you get the opportunity to do that kind of camping, and I know we cannot wait to do it again.
